Is Sandra Bullock really “overdosing” on facial fillers? That’s the claim in one of the tabloids. Gossip Cop can correct it.

A headline in the latest issue of the National Enquirer reads, “Sandra’s Frightening Frozen Face!” The accompanying article says the 54-year-old actress constantly gets injections to stay youthful. An alleged insider tells the magazine, “Fillers have always been Sandy’s weakness. And now that she’s getting a bit older, she’s trying to compensate with cosmetic enhancements.”

The tabloid then quotes a doctor who hasn’t treated Bullock as suggesting that she’s had “lip and smile line fillers.” The doctor’s medical opinion is purely based on photos of the actress at the Berlin premiere of her upcoming Netflix movie Bird Box.

Another supposed source tells the outlet, “She still looks youthful and pretty — but she’s starting to look artificial. Her friends are trying to convince her she would look better if she just aged naturally!” Gossip Cop, however, checked in with a mutual pal of ours and Bullock, who assures us that no one in the actress’s inner circle spoke to the Enquirer about her looks. We’re further assured that Bullock isn’t “overdosing” on injections.

Not only is the magazine’s story false, but it’s not the first time the actress has been accused of being hooked on plastic surgery. Earlier this year, Bullock responded to claims she got cosmetic work before attending the Oscars. She told InStyle, “This past Oscars I was sick and had allergies, but I was like, ‘I’m just going to go. It’s part of my job, and I’m happy to be there.’ Then the next day they were saying, ‘Oh, she has cheek fillers and implants.’ When I saw the photos and how swollen I was, I got it. But I was like, ’Well, if I got injections, I only got them on the top, which was not very good.’”

When asked if she’s bothered by false tabloid rumors about her undergoing cosmetic enhancements, Bullock further noted, “I am affected by it because I don’t feel confident when I dress up and go on the red carpet. I’m not that person who knows how to work it.” She added, “I try not to dread that kind of stuff, but I do get incensed and think, ‘How can they write this?'”

Additionally, the Enquirer doesn’t have a great track record when it comes to accurately reporting about the actress. Last month, Gossip Cop busted the tabloid for falsely claiming that Bullock had called off her wedding to boyfriend Bryan Randall. Only, the actress isn’t engaged to her boyfriend and had no plans to walk down the aisle. This latest article is more nonsense from the unreliable outlet.
