Sandra Bullock and Bryan Randall are not engaged and planning a destination wedding, despite a false report in one of this week’s tabloids. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk the story. We’re told it’s simply not true.

According to OK!, the actress’s boyfriend of two and a half years proposed to her over the holidays, but he hasn’t picked out an engagement ring just yet. A so-called “source” tells the magazine, “Bryan told Sandra he’d gone back and forth over the notion of surprising her with a ring but decided he’d talk to her first to make sure it was what she really wanted. Sandra told Bryan she was touched by the respect he showed her in discussing the idea and considering her feelings before taking the actual plunge and buying the ring.”

Of course, this just seems like a convenient way for the magazine to explain why Bullock hasn’t been spotted wearing an engagement ring. Still, the untrustworthy outlet goes on to say that the actress and photographer are secretly organizing a small wedding on an exotic island for either late spring or early summer. The alleged insider further maintains that Bullock’s two adopted children will “play a big part in the ceremony too.”

But Gossip Cop checked in Bullock’s own rep who speaking on behalf of the actress, exclusively assures us that pair haven’t gotten engaged, nor are they in the process of planning a wedding. It should be noted, Bullock and Randall’s relationship appears to be going strong, so it’s not out of the question that the couple’s status could change sometime in the future. However, the photographer simply didn’t propose to his girlfriend over the holidays.

Also, OK! is the same outlet that Gossip Cop busted in October for wrongly reporting that Bullock and Randall were adopting a baby girl. The tabloid claimed the couple would bring the child home before the holidays, but that obviously never happened. This latest article about their nonexistent engagement and wedding plans is equally unfounded.
