SAG Awards Live Stream 2018

The 2018 Screen Actors Guild Awards take place on Sunday, and Gossip Cop has a live stream of the ceremony. Watch the feed below!

The 24th annual awards show is being held once again at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. As widely reported, in December it was announced Kristen Bell would serve as the first-ever host of the Screen Actors Guild Awards. She said in a video posted to Twitter, “I’ve been asked to host the SAG Awards this year, which means, to all my friends who’ve been nominated, I get to choose who wins!” Amusingly, she was then informed in the clip that she won’t actually be choosing the evening’s winners. “That’s not how it works? Then what am I doing?” Bell joked. “Like, Anne Hathaway and James Franco did? I’m doing that? Why, did I lose a bet?”

This year, breaking away from tradition, the SAG Awards will feature only female presenters. “Our women are very famous and yet they face the issues that women across this country do, which is they don’t have equality in income. They don’t have creative equality. And they have the same kind of safety issues that other women have been facing,” Kathy Connell, the show’s executive producer, said to Entertainment Weekly in explaining the decision. She added, “We just thought we wanted to acknowledge as many wonderful women on our stage this year as we could, while we’re celebrating the best performances by women and men of the year.”

Among those slated to present are Olivia Munn, Rosanna Arquette, Mandy Moore, Emma Stone, Halle Berry and Dakota Fanning. Despite the strong female presence, Morgan Freeman will be honored with the Life Achievement Award during the show. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. Eastern, immediately following the online-only red carpet pre-show. Watch the live stream! NOTE: The live stream is no longer available.
