Ryan Seacrest’s house caught on fire on Sunday night. And while there was damage to the home, the TV personality was uninjured. On Monday, Seacrest tweeted a photo of burned debris that was outside his mansion, along with a caption that reads, “fire last night at the house- thank god everyone is ok” (see below). A mutual friend of Gossip Cop and Seacrest’s confirms there was “an electrical fire on the property.” We’re told the main structure of his home is completely intact, and that the fire blazed only outside on his driveway.

As Gossip Cop previously reported, Seacrest bought the massive 9,200-square-foot Beverly Hills mansion with three guest houses from Ellen DeGeneres in 2012. The asking price was $49 million. The impressive property sits on just under three acres of land. Before DeGeneres bought the house, it was previously owned by “Will & Grace” co-creator Max Mutchnick.

Seacrest, though not on TV weekly anymore for the first time in years thanks to the end of “American Idol,” still spends his days hosting “On Air With Ryan Seacrest” for KIIS-FM. Earlier this month, the star presented at the Grammys, and he’ll host the iHeartRadio Music Awards for the first time on March 5.

With Nick Cannon’s apparent departure from “America’s Got Talent,” there’s been speculation about Seacrest replacing him and reuniting with “Idol” judge Simon Cowell. Seacrest, however, hasn’t expressed any interest in the gig. Whatever happens, Gossip Cop is happy Seacrest is safe and sound. See the photo below of the damage to Seacrest’s home due to an electrical fire.
