Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford teased the upcoming Blade Runner 2049 in an interview broadcast on Wednesday’s “GMA.” Watch the video below!

Blade Runner 2049 is a sequel to the original 1982 Blade Runner, which starred Ford as an operative, known as a blade runner, hunting down replicants in the year 2019. The highly-anticipated follow-up is set in 2049, as the title suggests. While plot details have intentionally been kept vague, it is known that Gosling, too, is a blade runner, albeit one who discovers a major secret, which leads him to find Ford’s character, who disappeared following the events of the first film.

Jesse Palmer of “Good Morning America” caught up with Gosling and Ford at Comic-Con, and they were pretty tight-lipped. Warner Bros. created an immersive fan experience at the convention, allowing attendees to step into the Blade Runner world. But asked if that was what it was like when they were filming, Ford bluntly responded, “No.” He pointedly added, “It is cool, but the grown-up, professional version of it is a little cooler.”

“It’s just a fantastic ride,” Ford went on to say of the new movie. “Visually stunning movie, complicated, intensely-developed plot, character relationships. It’s a fantastic experience.” Palmer noted that Gosling’s character is an LAPD officer and blade runner, to which the actor replied, “That’s all I’m allowed to say.” But he did go on, “Initially, it starts as any other case, but it becomes very personal.”

They weren’t any more forthcoming. In fact, at one point, Ford actually told Palmer, “Pay money and you’ll find out.” Fortunately, the former NFL player had a good attitude about largely being stonewalled. He said on “GMA” with a smile, “Of course, I can guarantee there are going to be plenty of people paying their money to find out when this movie hits theaters on October 6th.” Assured Lara Spencer, “You gave it the old college try!” Check out the video below.
