Is Rosie O’Donnell “obsessed with clairvoyants” and constantly seeking advice from them? That’s the claim coming from one of this week’s tabloids, which says the TV personality often goes to psychics for guidance. Gossip Cop, however, correct this report.

According to OK!, O’Donnell has been “forking over big bucks on all the top-notch” clairvoyants because she’s “looking for guidance in her life and a way to reconnect with her loved ones.” A so-called “source” tells the tabloid, “Rosie is lonely and wants a medium to tell her that everything will get better.” After bringing up the recent suicide of her ex-wife Michelle Rounds and the news that her estranged daughter Chelsea is pregnant, the magazine’s alleged insider contends O’Donnell is seeking answers as to whether she’ll “get married again or if she will have a relationship with her future grandchild.”

The outlet’s seemingly phony source goes on to say the TV personality’s friends “think she would be better off seeing a shrink” because she “needs someone who can help her sort out her issues.” However, these claims simply aren’t true and were seemingly manufactured to exploit the difficult situations O’Donnell has been going through with her family in recent months. Gossip Cop can exclusively set the record straight on this story, as the TV star’s rep assure us it’s simply “absurd.”

Unfortunately, we’re not surprised by the magazine’s bogus article. Earlier this year, Gossip Cop called out OK!’s sister publication, Star, for wrongly reporting O’Donnell was rejoining “The View.” Obviously, that didn’t happen. Shortly before that inaccurate report, we busted the tabloid’s other sister outlet, RadarOnline, for making up a story about O’Donnell banning Giada De Laurentiis from attending a party for the 20th anniversary of “The Rosie O’Donnell Show.” This latest article about the TV personality’s supposed psychic obsession is similarly untrue.
