Rosie Huntington Whiteley Jason Statham Charlize Theron

The Fate of the Furious co-stars Charlize Theron and Jason Statham have been promoting the movie together at various press events, and now a new tabloid report claims his fiancee, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, is “furious” about them spending time together. Gossip Cop looked into the situation, and we can exclusively reveal the truth!

The claim was made in the latest issue of Star, which features an article about the pregnant supermodel supposedly being intimidated by Statham’s co-star. The outlet quotes a questionable source as saying that Huntington-Whiteley “feels like a huge blob” at the moment, and knows that Theron is “Jason’s type.” The publication’s alleged insider further purports that when the model confronted her fiance about the Theron, Statham told her he’s “just trying to stay in Charlize’s good graces” to nab a role in one of her upcoming action movies.

“But Rosie doesn’t care,” says the magazine’s tipster rather dramatically. Huntington-Whiteley simply “wants Jason to stay away from Charlize,” adds the tabloid’s source. Interestingly, the outlet doesn’t note why the model is suddenly concerned about Theron, now that she and Statham are promoting The Fate of the Furious, but was unconcerned while they filmed the action picture on location.

Here is what’s going on, based on Gossip Cop’s long history of reporting and fact-checking. The tabloids have a habit of (wrongly) alleging that a celebrity is jealous of his or her significant other’s co-star, regardless of how solid their relationship may be. Regardless, Gossip Cop checked in with a source who often deals with Statham and Huntington-Whiteley, and we’re exclusively assured the tabloid’s story is a “complete fabrication.”

Unfortunately, this wouldn’t be the first time Gossip Cop has had to call out Star for publishing a bogus report about the couple. We previously busted the magazine for falsely claiming that Statham was “picking up girls” behind Huntington-Whiteley’s back. There was no truth to that article, and this new story involving Theron isn’t any more accurate.
