Robert Pattinson and Sienna Miller are not dating, despite a completely made-up tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk the romance rumor. A rep for the actress confirms there's no truth to it.
The actor was spotted heading into Miller's New York City apartment last week, which has prompted OK! Australia to wrongly assume the two are a couple. An alleged insider tells the magazine that the pair were "always platonic" in the past, but that's changed now that they're both single.
"Rob has been a delightful distraction for Sienna," adds the outlet's questionable source. "[They] have been spending an awful lot of time together... and their constant flirting is starting to raise a few eyebrows." The magazine's speculative report is coming from an anonymous "insider," but Miller's own spokesperson tells Gossip Cop on the record that she's not dating Pattinson. The two have been friendly for years and that remains the case.
In fact, Pattinson is best friends with Miller's ex-fiance Tom Sturridge, with whom she shares a child. It was even reported that Sturridge and Miller set Pattinson up with FKA Twigs. The tabloid conveniently fails to mention Sturridge's connection to both stars. Regardless, Gossip Cop can confirm that Pattinson isn't dating his close pal's ex-fiancee.
It should be noted, the Australian version of OK! has already proven to have very little insight into the Twilight star's love life. Gossip Cop busted the magazine last year for wrongly reporting that Pattinson was dating Kate Beckinsale. That rumor emerged simply because the two posed together at the GQ Men of the Year Awards, but as time has shown, they're not an item and never were.
The American version of the tabloid isn't any more trustworthy. In April, Gossip Cop called out the publication for falsely claiming that Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were back together. Last year, the untrustworthy outlet insisted that Pattinson was dating Katy Perry. The magazine also wrongly linked the actor to Margot Robbie in recent months, despite her being married. It's becoming quite clear that the tabloid has no insider knowledge about Pattinson's love life. Instead, it seems OK! comes up romance rumors whenever the actor is spotted with a female celebrity.
It should also be mentioned, the outlet claimed several times last year that Miller was in a relationship with Brad Pitt. That bogus premise never panned out either. The publication's "sources" are either incredibly unreliable or simply nonexistent.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
