Robert Pattinson's supposed reaction to Kristen Stewart on "SNL" was seemingly made up. Gossip Cop can expose the apparent fabrication.

On Saturday, one week after Stewart hosted the NBC sketch comedy show, HollywoodLife is exclaiming in a headline, "Robert Pattinson 'Absolutely Loved' Kristen Stewart's 'Hilarious' SNL Gig: 'She Was Hilarious.'" The accompanying story begins, "Aww! Robert Pattison was cracking up like the rest of us at Kristen Stewart's hilarious opening monologue on 'Saturday Night Live.'"

It's even said that the blog has "EXCLUSIVE details on on [sic] how he loved being included in her jokes that had the audience in stitches." Pattinson is "giving her big applause," asserts the webloid. "She mentioned him in jokes for her opening monologue and not only was he totally okay with it, he's thrilled that she did it!"

"Rob saws snippets from the show and absolutely loved Kristen's opening monologue. He thought she was hilarious. He was happy to see her having so much fun and being so at ease with herself," a so-called "source" is quoted as saying.

But, once again, Gossip Cop can confirm that no legitimate, authentic "source" close to Pattinson is talking to HollywoodLies, which has been making up stories about him for years. In fact, just last weekend, the bogus outlet posted what amounted to fan-fiction when it claimed Pattinson sent Stewart flowers before the hosting stint. That tale was seemingly crafted out of thin air, and it appears to be the same situation here.

HollywoodLife didn't all of a sudden find out Pattinson's thoughts on "SNL" a full week after Stewart appeared. And no other publication has reported on his reaction because neither he nor anyone in camp is publicly talking about it. The notion that HollywoodLies, of all places, got this "exclusive" is laughable, and fans deserve to know the truth.

Our Verdict

Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
