Robert Pattinson Oneohtrix Point Never

Robert Pattinson stars in the music video for Oneohtrix Point Never and Iggy Pop’s collaboration song, “The Pure and the Damned,” which is featured on the soundtrack of the actor’s new movie Good Time. Watch it below!

The eerie music video was directed by the Safdie Brothers, the filmmakers behind Good Time. Both Pattinson and Benny Safdie reprise their characters from the film for the video, which also features a CGI Iggy Pop providing the vocals. The clip opens with the animated rocker standing shirtless outside of a house in the woods before going inside to find Pattinson’s character lying in bed and looking extremely agitated. At one point in the footage, Pattinson’s character wields a sword while approaching a wolf that’s feasting on a bloody carcass.

In addition to “The Pure and the Damned,” which plays over Good Time’s closing credits, Oneohtrix Point Never also composed the film’s score. The soundtrack for Good Time went on to win the award for Best Soundtrack at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival. The melancholy composition is filled with synthesizers that provide a fiery theme to accentuate the intense movie.

In Good Time, Pattinson plays a small-time criminal named Constantine “Connie” Nikas who attempts to rescue his mentally disabled brother from prison after a botched bank robbery. Taking place over one night in Queens, New York, the actor’s character must evade police and navigate the city’s criminal underworld to save his brother. Unfortunately, Connie’s night escalates into chaos and violence as his plan to break his brother out of jail gets consistently derailed. The cast of the movie also includes Oscar nominees Jennifer Jason Leigh and Barkhad Abdi.

Good Time is currently playing in theaters nationwide. Watch the music video for “The Pure and the Damned” below!
