One of the tabloids is suggesting that Robert Pattinson and Mia Goth started "hanging out" after his ex-fiancee FKA Twigs and her estranged husband Shia LaBeouf were spotted together. The article is attempting to create some sort of love quadrangle, but it's completely misleading. Gossip Cop can clear up the situation.
LaBeouf was photographed leaving FKA Twigs' home in London earlier this week, sparking romance rumors. It hasn't been confirmed that the two are dating, but the actor's rep did confirm that he and Goth have split after almost two years of marriage. Meanwhile, Goth and Pattinson posed together on Thursday at the San Sebastian International Film Festival to promote their new movie High Life. This all certainly makes for an interesting dynamic, but it's also coincidental.
OK!, however, has published an article on its website with the headline, "Robert Pattinson & Mia Goth Hang Out After His Ex FKA Twigs & Her Ex Shia LaBeouf Confirm Relationship." The accompanying article says that following the news of LaBeouf and FKA Twigs spending time together, Pattinson and Goth "decided to make a little public appearance of their own." The insinuation is that they met up to spite their exes, but that's not the case.
The High Life co-stars simply attended a photocall for their new film. The event was scheduled well before LaBeouf and FKA Twigs were seen leaving her home earlier this week. Pattinson and Goth happen to be co-starring in a movie together and it also seems there's a romance developing between their exes, who met on the set of the upcoming film Honey Boy. It's definitely an unusual situation, but OK! is trying to turn it all into a soap opera scandal.
It's also worth noting, LaBeouf and FKA Twigs haven't "confirmed their relationship," despite the outlet's headline. It would certainly appear there's a romance between the two, but nothing has been "confirmed." Gossip Cop has reached out to reps for both stars for more information about their relationship.
Unfortunately, this entire situation has already sparked other bogus stories. On Wednesday, Gossip Cop called out HollywoodLife for falsely claiming that LaBeouf is dating FKA Twigs to "get back" at Pattinson. Shortly before that, the blog pretended to "exclusively" know Pattinson's reaction to FKA Twigs and LaBeouf getting together. All fours stars are now connected in a way that's a bit complicated, but the gossip media is attempting to further complicate the situation with false narratives.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
