Nicole Kidman kisses Robert Pattinson in a new clip from the upcoming movie Queen of the Desert, a biographical drama set in the Middle East during the 1900s. Watch a scene from the film below!

As Gossip Cop has reported, Kidman stars as the real-life Gertrude Bell, a British explorer, writer, and archaeologist who became a diplomat for the British Empire during the early 20th century. Pattinson co-stars as T.E. Lawrence, otherwise known as Lawrence of Arabia, who led a revolt against the Ottoman Empire during World War I.

In a newly released clip from the film, Kidman’s character is about to leave the Middle East, but Pattinson’s Lawrence insists, “You can’t leave. The local women might try to wed me off again.” As a group of female bystanders look on, she asks, “Do you want me to kiss you in front of everyone?,” to which Lawrence responds, “Absolutely!”

“My kiss shall liberate you,” Kidman says as she gives him a passionate smooch on the cheek. Pattinson’s character then jokes, “Will you please not marry me?” The film also co-stars James Franco and Damian Lewis, and was written and directed by acclaimed documentarian Werner Herzog. Queen of the Desert doesn’t have a U.S. release date yet, but it’s expected to hit theaters sometime later this year. In the meantime, watch the new clip below!
