Robert Pattinson did NOT send flowers to Kristen Stewart before her hosting gig at "SNL," despite a completely made-up report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this fake news story. We're told it's "untrue" and "so stupid."
According to the serial fabricators at HollywoodLife, "R-Patz is showing his support for his ex-girlfriend in a super sweet way," having sent the actress "flowers to congratulate her on her upcoming 'SNL' performance." The repeatedly discredited outlet then seemingly manufactures a so-called "source" as saying that in addition to the flowers, Pattinson included "a really sweet supportive note, telling her to 'break a leg.'" The same possibly concocted "source" adds, "He's super excited for her and how well her career is going right now."
But the entire article is false. HollywoodLies, as it is commonly known, appears to believe that if they make up stories that have positive quotations, it won't get called out by the stars themselves, as the webloid has in the past by Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, to name a few. And the outlet is also aware that Pattinson and Stewart are not going to personally debunk these fake news stories.
However, Gossip Cop has checked with sources close to both stars, as well as at "Saturday Night Live," and not one person says there's any truth to the webloid's story. In fact, one impeccable insider calls the article "so stupid," while another assures Gossip Cop that the tale is 100 percent "untrue," like so many previous reports from the often disproven site.
To say HollywoodLife has made up a few stories about Pattinson and Stewart would be an understatement. It's interesting that the webloid claims the exes are so tight now that he's sending her flowers, when just a few months ago the outlet alleged Pattinson was hurt Stewart called their relationship "gross." For the record, Stewart never dissed her relationship with Pattinson. HollywoodLies also made that up, as well as an article that asserted Stewart called Pattinson's fiancee FKA Twigs "fugly. Like so many of other reports from that outlet which Gossip Cop has exposed, the latest tall tale about Pattinson sending Stewart flowers before hosting "SNL" is also fake news.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
