Robert Pattinson attended a screening of his new movie Good Time at the Fantasia Film Festival in Montreal Thursday night. Watch a video below of the actor talking about the film during a press conference.

In the upcoming thriller, Pattinson plays a small-time criminal who attempts to break his brother out of prison following a botched bank robbery. The gritty film is set during a single night in Queens, NY, where the actor’s character must evade police and navigate the city’s seedy underworld to save his brother. As Gossip Cop reported, Good Time premiered in May at the Cannes Film Festival, where it received a standing ovation and Oscar buzz for Pattison’s performance.

Pattinson and the film’s directors, brothers Ben and Joshua Safdie, discussed the movie at a press conference prior to Thursday night’s screening at the festival. “They have a lot of energy,” the actor said of the filmmaking duo. “[I was] working longer hours than I’ve done on anything in my life, but I’ve also never seen such a unified crew.” He added, “I’ve never really seen that level of unity before. You do feel like you’re kind of in this weird psychological zone. But it definitely felt like we were making something that was real.”

In addition to talking to the press, Pattinson also participated in a Q&A session following the festival screening. The actor has been making the rounds lately promoting the film, which hits theaters August 11. As Gossip Cop reported, Pattinson appeared on the “Howard Stern Show” earlier this week, during which he evasively revealed he and FKA Twigs are “kind of” engaged.
