Robert Pattinson and Bella Hadid did not cozy up to each other at the Dior Homme show in Paris nor are they a couple, despite a new report. Gossip Cop can correct the inaccurate claim, which was made by a site that has a long history of fabricating stories about Pattinson. We're told the latest account is "wrong" and "dumb."
According to the often "wrong" (and occasionally "dumb") HollywoodLife, Pattinson and Hadid were "getting pretty close while posing for photos at the recent Dior Homme Menswear show in Paris." The site, which was too lazy to even fact-check that the fashion show took place on Saturday, then sounds off about how we may now have a "new couple alert." Naturally, the outlet doesn't have a source to back up its claim. Still, it maintains Pattinson and Hadid "definitely make a good looking couple." Yes, a movie star and a model would "make a good looking couple," if they were dating, but they're not.
Next, the blog notes a Pattinson-Hadid pairing would be his "first high profile one" since FKA Twigs. And for the model, after having "had her own share of high profile relationships" with The Weeknd, along others, she's ready for "igniting a new heated romance." But rather than offering evidence about Hadid and Pattinson actually being a "new couple," the ridiculous site instead just gushes about how "their natural charm and smarts" have always set them apart in "an industry full of beauty."
In the real world, however, Pattinson and Hadid simply posed next to one another at the menswear show for Dior, the fashion house to which they both have strong ties. That's all. As Gossip Cop has previously reported, Pattinson has been one of the faces of Dior for years. Last March, for example, Pattinson was featured in a Dior Homme ad campaign for the label's Fall 2017 collection. He's also done ads for its spring collection and cologne.
Meanwhile, as widely reported, Hadid was named the face of Dior in 2016. Since then, she's done ads for their makeup line and other products. Because of her and Pattinson's connections and commitments to the fashion house, they were both at Saturday's menswear show, not because they're a "new couple." It should also be noted that no legitimate outlets romantically linked the two or falsely reported that they had gotten cozy at the event.
As for the actor, Pattinson first signed with Dior back in 2013. In addition to shooting several ads and campaigns for Dior, he's also been a frequent attendee at its shows. More significantly perhaps, over the years HollywoodLife has posted several fake news stories about Pattinson dating Katy Perry, artist Nettie Wakefield, and Riley Keough, to name a few. He was never half of a couple with any of those women, nor is he with Hadid. A source close to Pattinson tells Gossip Cop the site's article linking him to the model is "wrong," while a Hadid insider calls the story "dumb."
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
