The ongoing drama between Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna isn't a ploy to sell a new reality show, despite a bogus report claiming the battle between the exes is staged. Gossip Cop can exclusively set the record straight.
As Gossip Cop reported, Kardashian posted nude photos of Chyna on Instagram earlier this month after accusing her of cheating on him. The model subsequently obtained a restraining order against Kardashian, alleging he's been violent with her in the past. A judge has ordered the reality star to stay away from Chyna, with whom he shares a baby daughter, and Kardashian could possibly face criminal charges if found guilty of publishing "revenge porn."
The repeatedly discredited MediaTakeOut, however, is now alleging the situation is an elaborate hoax. A new headline on the site reads, "Chyna And Rob 'TOGETHER AGAIN' And They're Getting A NEW TV SHOW TOO. We Gotta Ask... Was The Whole Thing A SCAM!!!" The accompanying article claims the ex-couple has pitched a new show to E! focusing on the tumultuous series of events.
Kardashian and Chyna starred last year on the network's reality show, "Rob & Chyna," but the series isn't currently in production or on the E! schedule. MTO, however, claims the exes hope to stage a "TV reunion" with "either a one-hour special or a full series that explores what went wrong between them." The webloid ends its piece by baselessly speculating the exes' ongoing fight is fake, and simply a ruse to get back on TV.
Of course, it's highly improbable the exes would stage an expensive legal battle involving high-profile lawyers, including celebrity attorneys Robert Shapiro and Lisa Bloom, just to sell a reality show. Regardless, Gossip Cop still checked in with Chyna's attorney, who assures us the webloid's report is "completely false." A source close to Kardashian similarly tells us there's "no truth" to the site's story.
Of course, MTO has proven to be very unreliable when it comes to accurately reporting about the ex-couple, so this latest fabrication isn't surprising. Gossip Cop previously busted the site for falsely claiming Kardashian isn't the real father of baby Dream. We also called out the site earlier this year when it wrongly reported Chyna was pregnant with Kardashian's second child. This latest article is simply more lies.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
