A new story claiming Rihanna’s “exes,” Leonardo DiCaprio and Drake, avoided each other at a pre-Oscars party is completely untrue. For starters, the singer never even dated the movie star, so the article is based on a false premise. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this nonsense.

The tabloids have romantically linked Rihanna and DiCaprio over the years, but as Gossip Cop has noted, the two have never been an item. However, that hasn’t stopped RadarOnline from claiming the actor steered clear of her ex-boyfriend Drake at a Los Angeles nightclub prior to the Oscars. According to an alleged insider, DiCaprio made a beeline for the opposite side of the club after spotting the rapper.

The outlet’s supposed source says, “Leo is always in the main room with his crew and sits in the same booth, but he stayed away the whole night and ignored Drake who took his spot.” The questionable tipster further contends that the actor’s pals didn’t acknowledge the rapper either. “Everyone thought was odd considering they are all meant to be friends,” adds the seemingly nonexistent witness, who insists that Rihanna is the cause of their alleged beef.

It should be noted, the blog fails to mention exactly when and where this incident took place. Although both DiCaprio and Drake attended WME’s pre-Oscars bash on Friday night, that event was held at a private home in Beverly Hills, not inside a nightclub. Regardless, Gossip Cop checked in with sources close to both the movie star and rapper, who exclusively assured us on background that there’s no feud between the two. In fact, DiCaprio even attended Drake’s 31st birthday party last October.

Simply put, the actor and rapper aren’t at odds over a mutual ex they don’t actually share. Drake had an on-again, off-again relationship with Rihanna, but DiCaprio never romanced the R&B star. This is a non-issue. Of course, we’re not surprised by the site’s fictional account of events. Gossip Cop previously busted the outlet for making up a story about DiCaprio and Rihanna “getting cozy” at Coachella.

Shortly after we debunked the bogus rumor about the two hooking up at the music festival, RadarOnline’s sister publication, the National Enquirer, falsely claimed Rihanna was pregnant with DiCaprio’s baby. Unfortunately, the unreliable blog is now dragging Drake into the phony scenario. Gossip Cop can confirm there’s no truth to this ongoing narrative.
