Earlier this week, photos emerged of Rihanna and Saudi businessman Hassan Jameel passionately kissing in a pool while on vacation in Spain. HollywoodLife has now published several articles claiming to have “exclusive details” about the pair’s apparent relationship, but it’s all bogus. Gossip Cop can expose this fake news.
The singer’s rumored new boyfriend is a billionaire who serves as the deputy president and vice chairman of his family’s successful company, which is one of the key investors in Toyota. HollywoodLife only learned about this romance days ago when the kissing photos first emerged, but the site now purports to have an extensive rundown about their relationship. One article features the headline, “Rihanna ‘Focused’ On Hassan Jameel Relationship: Chris Brown & Other Exes OffHer Mind,” and quotes a supposed “source close the singer” as saying she’s no longer thinking about past boyfriends.
Another one of the site’s phony articles says Jameel’s ex-girlfriend, supermodel Naomi Campbell, is “furious” about Rihanna dating her ex. A subsequent story asserts that the Saudi billionaire is “in ecstasy” being with the singer. Only, up until a few days ago HollywoodLife never wrote a single article about Jameel, and now somehow the site has insiders who know his innermost feelings? An additional piece says Rihanna’s apparent boyfriend treats her “like a princess.”
But even if HollywoodLife has provided a few accurate details, which is possible, it’s not because the webloid has any exclusively insight into Rihanna’s relationship. Gossip Cop is assured by a mutual pal of ours and the singer that no one in he trusted inner circle is spilling details about her love life to the website. The assertions that Rihanna is “focused” on her relationship and is treated well are obvious guesses, but the site didn’t procure this information from any actual sources.
In fact, Gossip Cop was exclusively told just last month that Rihanna is “tired” of HollywoodLife publishing fake news about her. An insider told us the singer was frustrated by the site and others like it “pretending to know about her when they don’t.” Unfortunately, the webloid is still practicing this deceptive technique.
Gossip Cop believes there to be elements of truth, but the story is ultimately misleading.
