Is Reese Witherspoon planning to get pregnant with her fourth baby? One of this week's tabloids claims the actress is eager to have another child immediately. Gossip Cop looked into the situation and we can set the record straight.
The busy actress has a number of projects lined up for 2019, but according to OK!, having another child is her top priority. Witherspoon is mom to Ava, 19, and Deacon, 15, with ex-husband Ryan Philippe, and shares 6-year-old son Tennessee with her husband Jim Toth. "Reese loves having a baby around, and friends are saying it looks like she may get her wish again," a supposed source tells the magazine.
The alleged insider goes on to say that the 43-year-old actress is missing the hands-on part of motherhood as her children get older, and would love to have another girl "before it's too late." The questionable tipster further contends that another baby would strengthen Witherspoon's marriage. "Reese knows that she and Jim were super close when Tennessee was born," adds the suspicious source. "I won't call it a Band-Aid baby, but bonding over a baby would be good."
As for the actress's 6-year-old son, "he's always saying he wants a younger brother or sister," according to the seemingly phony insider. "Reese never wanted kids so spread out in ages, but now she doesn't think it matters so much. She's a great mom, and Jim's on board. She'd love to do it all over again."
Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to Witherspoon, who wasn't able to speak on the record, but assures us the magazine's report is "fabricated." The actress simply isn't planning to have a fourth child at this time. In fact, Witherspoon is busy shooting an untitled Apple TV series alongside Jennifer Aniston, and she starts production on Legally Blonde 3 once the show wraps. The actress has a lot on her plate professionally at the moment.
When OK! isn't busy trying to impregnate the actress, it often throws her into fake feuds with other celebrities. Gossip Cop previously busted the outlet for falsely claiming Witherspoon was fighting with Aniston over equal pay for their upcoming TV series. The two actresses, who are co-producing their new project, are receiving the same salary.
Shortly before that, Gossip Cop called out the publication for making up a story about Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman being "frenemies" who only pretend to like each other for the cameras. In reality, the "Big Little Lies" co-stars are very close pals. The unreliable magazine has very little insight into the actress's personal life. That goes for her family plans as well.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
