Rashad Jennings won Season 24 of “Dancing With The Stars” with his partner Emma Slater. The pair was crowned this season’s champions and awarded the Mirrorball Trophy on Tuesday’s results show. See the video below of Jennings and Slater winning “Dancing With The Stars.”

As Gossip Cop reported, Monday’s finals featured Normani Kordei and Val Chmerkovskiy, David Ross and Lindsay Arnold, and Jennings and Slater each performing a redemption routine and a freestyle dance. The professional football player once again proved to be a strong competitor on the dancefloor, receiving a perfect score first for his redemption routine, a Viennese Waltz, and then again for his flawless freestyle. The judges comments on Monday included Julianne Hough telling Jennings, “We just saw the best,” and Carrie Ann Inaba praising him for his “tireless pursuit of perfection.” Meanwhile, Bruno Tonioli called the athlete the “man of the moment.”

But Jennings wasn’t the only competitor to earn a perfect score for his freestyle. As Gossip Cop noted, both Kordei and Ross also received 40 out of 40 points for their flawless routines. But on Tuesday, Normani was the first finalist shockingly eliminated. In the end, Jennings won, and Ross was the runner-up.

Not only were Jennings and Slater consistently among the highest scorers week after week with the judges, but not long after the season began they also became fan favorites. Before Tuesday’s finale, “Dancing With The Stars” saw the eliminations of Simone Biles and Sasha Farber, Nick Viall and Peta Murgatroyd, Nancy Kerrigan and Artem Chigvintsev, Heather Morris and Maksim Slater, Erika Jayne and Gleb Savchenko, Mr. T and Kym Herjavec, Charo and Keo Motsepe, and Chris Kattan and Witney Carson.
