Rashad Jennings and Emma Slater bounced back on Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars.” They performed an “elite” tango to the Four Tops’s “Reach Out, I’ll Be There” on a night devoted to boy bands and girl groups. Watch the video below of their routine.

Last week, Carrie Ann Inaba felt Jennings’s foxtrot movements seemed “small and constricted.” And while Len Goodman didn’t love his performance, he did note the football player hasn’t done a bad routine all season. Julianne Hough and Bruno Tonioli were more upbeat with their criticism. Still, at the end of the night, Jennings was toward the bottom of the leaderboard with a score of just 32 out of 40 points.

This week, the football player came back and danced a strong tango. And the judges were all back in his corner. Goodman said, “You showed us a proper tango.” Tonioli felt, “You’ve got plenty of talent.” Inaba noted she he’s now dancing with “style and technique.” And guest judge Nick Carter offered that he’s now reached the level of “elite” dancer. For his tango, Jennings received 37 out of 40 points. To see Jennings and Slater’s routine to the Four Tops’s “Reach Out, I’ll Be There” on “Dancing With The Stars,” watch the video below.
