Rashad Jennings Dancing With Stars

Rashad Jennings and Emma Slater impressed again on Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars.” They danced a quickstep to Superhumans’ “Yes I Can” during the show’s semifinals. Watch the video below of their performance below.

In addition to dancing a very respectable jive during last week’s quarterfinals, the professional football player came very close to receiving his first perfect score for his Argentine tango trio with Slater and Witney Carson. Following the dance, Jennings was awarded 39 out of 40 points and a tremendous amount of praise. Carrie Ann Inaba offered, “By far this was your best dance… I thought it was spot on.” Julianne Hough added, “You’re a good dancer.” Len Goodman commented on how the “storytelling was terrific.” And Bruno Tonioli exclaimed, “It’s trios all the way for you, man.” And while Jennings once again proved his dancing prowess, as Gossip Cop noted, moments later he was on the verge of being voted off the show.

He came back much stronger this week. Jennings wowed with his rumba earlier on “Dancing With The Stars” this Monday. And he did even better with his second routine.

Jennings’ quickstep this week was well received, except by one judge. Goodman said it was “good, not great.” Hough, however, called it “brilliant.” Inaba felt it was “made in heaven.” And Tonioli expressed that Jennings became a “leading man.” For his performance during the “Dancing With The Stars” semifinals, Jennings got a total of 39 out of 40 points.
