Rashad Jennings and Emma Slater gave a perfect performance on Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars” finals. For their redemption style dance, they performed a flawless Viennese waltz to The Weeknd’s “Dark Times.” Watch the video below.

A fierce competitor, Jennings has stepped up his game in the final few weeks of this season’s “Dancing With The Stars.” Since Week 6, the football player hasn’t received less than a nine from any of the judges for his performances. And he’s been awarded a perfect 10 on several occasions. However, he has yet to receive a flawless 40 out of 40 all season until now.

Just last week, Jennings performed two near perfect routines. His first was a rumba during the judge’s challenge round, which prompted Len Goodman to declare, “You have tremendous dance talent.” Bruno Tonioli further expressed that the football player has “exceeded all expectations.” Meanwhile, Julianne Hough thought his dance was “well done,” while Carrie Ann Inaba praised Jennings for a “more refined” performance. Still, despite the glowing reviews, he received a respectable 38 out of 40 points. And for Jennings’s second dance during the semifinals, a quickstep, he nabbed a total of 39 out of 40 points.

This time around, Jennings finally did it, and Goodman noted, “I saw improvement in every level of that dance.” Hough offered, “We just saw the best.” Tonioli called it “refined ” and “polished.” And Inaba also loved their routine. As mentioned above, for their redemption dance, Jennings and Slater received a perfect 40 out of 40 points. Watch the video below of their Viennese Waltz during the “Dancing With The Stars” finals.
