As Gossip Cop reported, Jennings won Season 24 of “Dancing With The Stars” with his partner Emma Slater on Tuesday, taking home the Mirrorball Trophy. The professional football player, who proved to be a strong competitor over the course of the season, achieved a perfect score for his first routine of the night, a Viennese Waltz, and then again for his excellent freestyle. Following the finale, Jennings celebrated his triumphant win on the morning show alongside David Ross, this season’s runner-up, and Normani Kordei, the third finalist.

On what made Jennings and Slater a “winning combination,” the pro said of her partner, “I think it’s our friendship. We’re really, really close friends. I trusted him so much. I really depended on him. He was so positive, his work ethic, it was all Rashad, I can’t take anything. He was just amazing.”

During the interview, Jennings parents, his biggest fans, sent their son a special message. “Congratulations, you worked hard, you danced harder,” his mom gushed. “You overcame all the odds. Now look, you’re walking away with that Mirrorball trophy. We’re so proud of you. We love you.”

The girls of Fifth Harmony also sent Kordei a sweet message, congratulating the singer on her phenomenal achievement. “We are so proud of you,” they said. “You took our breath away. You are the winner of our hearts.” “They’re so sweet. I love my girls so much,” Kordei shared. “They’ve been very supportive throughout the process, and they know this made me very happy. Seeing me find myself, I think makes them very ecstatic.”

Ross, who narrowly missed out on taking the Mirrorball Trophy, received a hilarious video from his children, who were more critical of his time on “Dancing With The Stars.” “Hey Dad, you didn’t win, but you did really good. You made it to the finals, that’s not the best, but it’s really good,” his son shared, prompting the audience to burst into laughter. “I told you he’s truthful,” Ross joked. Watch the video below!
