RadarOnline is backtracking on its claim Kourtney Kardashian broke up with Younes Bendjima. With the couple currently on vacation together, the site is now alleging they only had a "brief breakup." But Gossip Cop knows the truth.
As we reported, the webloid recently claimed Kardashian and Bendjima split after their time in Cannes in May. A so-called "source" was quoted as saying, "Kourtney broke Younes' heart. While they were in Cannes he told her that he was falling in love with her, but she just wasn't feeling the same way." This supposed snitch further asserted Kardashian was bothered by their age difference and "could not relate to him."
The story, however, was seemingly made up. Because the pair wasn't spotted showing PDA after that vacation in France, the site assumed they ended their romance and peddled an article that supported that angle. But as Gossip Cop pointed out, Kardashian and Benjima never actually called it quits. The reason they weren't seen together in recent weeks was because the reality star was focusing on her three children and her business obligations. The relationship with Bendjima was not and is not her top priority and he understands that.
To put it simply, she sees him when he can. With the July Fourth holiday, though, Kardashian found time to jet off to St. Tropez with her paramour. And now that it's obvious they're still together, RadarOnline is being forced to spin its previous split story. Rather than acknowledge it was wrong before, the outlet is now announcing, "SHOCKING PHOTOS: Back On! Kourtney Kardashian Caught Holding Hands With Boy Toy Younes Bendjima."
According to the publication's false narrative, Kardashian and Benjima stepped out "just days after their brief breakup." "Now, it seems she's giving love a second chance," contends the webloid. But this is damage control. The site was caught in a lie and is now dishing readers another lie to explain why reality isn't matching the original tall-tale. By backtracking a bit, RadarOnline wants to make it seem like Kardashian and her beau decided to reconcile. In actuality, the outlet was just wrong from the start, much like when it was falsely claimed Kardashian was "pregnant with baby #4" earlier this year.
Gossip Cop believes there to be elements of truth, but the story is ultimately misleading.
