Rachel Roy seemingly trolled Beyonce after the Saturday night release of her new album Lemonade. One of Beyonce’s singles is called “Sorry,” about a man cheating on his wife with a woman named “Becky with the good hair.” Not long after the release of “Sorry,” Roy, who according to unconfirmed rumors was linked to Jay Z, ignited a firestorm by posting on Instagram, “Good hair don’t care, but we will take good lighting, for selfies, or self truths, always. live in the light #nodramaqueens.” See a screenshot of Roy’s post below.

At the time of Beyonce’s sister Solange’s beating of Jay Z in an elevator at the Met Gala in 2014, it was rumored that the music mogul’s closeness to the fashion designer is what precipitated the fight. None of the parties has ever seemingly commented on those claims until Roy’s Instagram post, which resulted in Beyonce’s fans, known as the Beehive, swarming the fashion designer account with negative comments, as well as emojis of lemons, referring to her new album Lemonade.

While Roy has since made her Instagram account private, because of all the negative comments left on her post, Beyonce fans are still going after the fashion designer on Twitter, causing her name to trend on the social media site. One user named ‏@itsjustdebb tweeted, “Rachel Roy is 40+, has children and is acting like a little 20 your old Instagram thot. Who revels In being a side chick? WOMP.” Another account with the handle @GugsM wrote, “Rachel Roy won’t exist by the end of the day. The Beygency are deleting all traces of her right now.” And a user named @ThatDudeMCFLY expressed, “Rachel Roy decided to commit career suicide. Smh lol.”

Even though Beyonce may have been referring to alleged past indiscretions of her husband, including calling out “side chicks” in another song called “Apathy,” Jay Z appeared with her in the video that accompanied the song “Every Promise” in the hour-long HBO special “Lemonade,” giving the impression that all is forgiven. Check out the screenshot below of Roy’s since-deleted Instagram post in which she seemingly is trolling Beyonce.
