A new report alleges Queen Elizabeth is having an ice cream parlor built inside Kensington Palace for Prince George and Princess Charlotte, but the entire story is made-up. Gossip Cop can correct this fabrication. We’re told it’s “false.”

According to Star, which routinely publishes inaccurate stories about the royal family, Queen Elizabeth is planning to “surprise” her great-grandchildren with their very own “old-fashioned ice cream parlor, smack dab within the regal walls of their home at Kensington Palace.” In terribly unnatural language, a so-called “royal insider” is quoted as saying, “Kate [Middleton] wrinkled her nose, but Prince William set her straight, telling the darling duchess to smile graciously and say thank you to dear old grandmum-in-law.”

What’s more, the outlet’s questionable “source” goes on to claim, “The Queen wants to have it built for Christmas as a big surprise.” But, if it wasn’t already obvious, the entirety of Star’s latest report is manufactured. Remember, this is the same magazine Gossip Cop busted in January for wrongly claiming Prince William and Kate Middleton had been crowned King and Queen. Evidently, the publication is hardly a reliable source for royal stories.

Regardless of the amount of falsehoods the tabloid has posted over the years, Gossip Cop still looked into the seemingly bogus claim, and once again, we were right to assume the outlet had concocted yet another phony report. An actual palace insider tells us the story about Queen Elizabeth having an ice cream parlor built inside Kensington Palace for Prince George and Princess Charlotte is simply “false.” The often disproven outlet was wrong to claim it had the “scoop” on this supposed tale.

Of course, this isn’t the first time Gossip Cop has corrected Star for fabricating baseless articles about the royal family. In 2016, we busted the publication for falsely alleging Meghan Markle was pregnant with Prince Harry’s baby. Clearly, the magazine is clueless when it comes to reporting about the royals.
