Princess Diana’s grave at Althorp Park is NOT empty, despite a ridiculous tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this claim. We’re told it’s not true.

According to the National Enquirer, the late royal’s body was never actually buried at the memorial site in England where visitors pay tribute, but was instead placed in a coffin inside St. Mary’s Church next to her father’s ashes. A so-called “source” tells the magazine that the reason behind the alleged ruse is because Althorp Park “is more secure and visitors can be more controlled.”

The outlet’s dubious insider adds, “No one working at the estate now was at the funeral, so we all believe what we are told. It’s just better that we keep our mouths shut!” Despite how unlikely this story seems, Gossip Cop still checked in with a reliable source close to the situation, who exclusively assures us this tall tale is completely untrue. We’re assured Princess Diana’s body has been buried at Althorp Park since she died nearly 20 years ago, and the conspiracy theory otherwise is bogus.

Unfortunately, we’re not surprised by the tabloid’s inaccurate claim. Gossip Cop previously busted the magazine for wrongly reporting that the royal family believes Princess Charlotte is the reincarnation of Princess Diana. That story was completely false, and the same goes for this latest one.
