Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are NOT having a Christmas wedding in the Caribbean, despite a new tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct the untrue story.

As has been widely reported, Markle recently accompanied Prince Harry to his friend’s wedding in Jamaica. Now, according to Life & Style, the royal “came home inspired.” A so-called “insider” is quoted as saying, “He was blown away by the romantic setting and told friends he wants his own wedding to have a similar feel.”

The magazine alleges Markle “didn’t need convincing,” and “the couple made it official, telling friends they’ve decided to tie the knot in the Caribbean just before Christmas.” The purported “insider” notes that Markle has “always dreamed of a beach wedding,” and “they’re determined to make their wedding as romantic and intimate as possible.”

Life & Style goes on to repeat its already debunked claims about Prince Harry and Markle getting engaged last fall, an allegation Gossip Cop busted in November. The rest of the article is filled out with supposed wedding plans, from Harry asking Prince William to be his best man to Markle wearing a “custom-made frock by a classic designer like Ralph Lauren or Burberry.” Adds the publication’s alleged tipster, “They’ll start trying for a baby as soon as they exchange vows.”

It’s conceivable Prince Harry and Markle may one day tie the knot. If they do, it’s also conceivable they’ll have kids. But these nuptial notions aren’t accurate. In fact, they’re likely made up, given that the tabloid previously made up the engagement claim. Gossip Cop investigated these Caribbean Christmas wedding claims, and we’re exclusively told they “aren’t true, like most of what is written” about the couple.
