Prince Harry Meghan Markle Moving America

A tabloid cover story announcing Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are “moving to America” was made up. The contention he is also “quitting [the] royals” is equally fabricated. Gossip Cop can bust this manufactured report.

The inauthentic claims come from Star, which exclaims in a headline, “Welcome To America: Harry’s Moving For Meghan.” According to the fictional story, “Prince Harry is so in love with Meghan Markle, he’s ready to swap bangers and mash for burgers and fries and make a new life with her in the states!” But, despite initial insinuations, the tabloid doesn’t claim he’s making a full-on move. Rather, it’s alleged, “He’ll soon announce that he’s splitting his time between the U.S. and the U.K.”

“Harry and Meghan have done a trial run of living together at his palace cottage, and while Meghan loved London, she hated being so far from her family, who live in Los Angeles,” a so-called “insider” explains. “She decided that putting down roots in England wasn’t for her, even though she knew that might end her relationship with Harry. But he was more than understanding; he told Meghan he loves her so much he wants to make it work. She couldn’t believe it.”

The publication contends Prince Harry now has to “turn his back on the monarchy,” but “hasn’t yet broken the news to his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, or his big brother, Prince William.” Yet, on the cover, the outlet teased that it had the “dying queen’s furious reaction.” That’s not the only reason to raise an eyebrow. The queen and Prince Harry’s own sibling don’t know about his purported plans, but readers are supposed to believe his intentions have leaked to an American gossip magazine. That’s hard to swallow.

Yet an alleged “pal” of Prince Harry’s claims to the tabloid, “He and Meghan have been house hunting in L.A. They’ve got their eye on a secluded mansion in the Hollywood Hills with a gorgeous view of the city.” As for an engagement, a purported “palace insider” maintains that Prince Harry will “have to get permission from the queen before he can propose.” But why would he need permission if he’s “quitting” royal life? And if he’s turning on the monarchy, why would he need to “split” his time between America and England?

None of this is explained. Nor was it ever explained what happened to the baby. You know, the baby Star claimed Markle was pregnant with nearly a year ago. It’s noteworthy that the magazine fabricated that last year, and it’s telling that it is now pretending like it never made that allegation as it peddles additional serious, hard-to-fathom claims. Not to mention, Gossip Cop has already called out a number of other concocted gossip stories about Prince Harry moving, including ones from the publication’s sister outlets, OK! and RadarOnline. Now Gossip Cop is assured that anyone legitimately close to the couple still isn’t divulging such plans, and any claims either come from phony “sources” or bogus “reporting.”
