Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are not living together, despite a report. Gossip Cop can debunk the story, which comes from the tabloids.
The allegation can be found in the current edition of Star, which wrongly announces, "Meghan Moves In!" It's further declared, "The prince and his honey have taken the next big step: They're shacking up at his place!" Both these statements are false.
Nevertheless, the accompanying story claims "there are reports that the sexy actress has practically moved in with Harry at his cottage in Kensington Palace — and that a proposal may not be far off for the lovebirds!" A so-called "royal insider" is quoted as saying, "Some people may think that Harry and Meghan are moving too fast, but they're both very independent and are taking things at their own pace."
"Meghan may even ask to be written out of her show ["Suits"] so she can settle in permanently with Harry," claims a supposed "source." The aforementioned "insider" even credits Kate Middleton for the progression of the couple's relationship. "Getting Kate's approval was the linchpin to taking their romance to the next level," contends the tipster, "because she's so close to the Queen, whose blessing is needed before Harry and Meghan get engaged."
But what about the baby? You know, the baby Star alleged Markle was pregnant with back in December. Curiously, that's not mentioned anywhere in this new piece. And in that prior tale, Queen Elizabeth was supposedly urging Markle and Prince Harry to wed immediately. In the latest story, they've yet to get her blessing.
Two months after the false pregnancy claim, the tabloid is still inaccurate, and now inconsistent as well. As Gossip Cop already reported, Markle did NOT move in with Prince Harry, a false allegation also spread this week by Star sister publication, OK!. While the actress has been spending time with the royal at Kensington Palace, she is not actually living there and that will not be changing in the immediate future.
Gossip Cop believes there to be elements of truth, but the story is ultimately misleading.
