Prince Harry Engaged

Prince Harry and Cressida Bonas are not “engaged,” despite a new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim, which began in one of the tabloids this week. We are told it is simply not true.

OK! claims the on-and-off couple are “secretly engaged” and that the “palace confirms” the two are set to wed. The remainder of the article is filler, using as its starting point an interview Prince Harry gave in which he said he would “love to have kids.” The rest of the piece talks about how the red-headed royal and actress met, dated on-and-off, and have recently been supporting each other at public events, including Prince Harry attending her performances in different stage productions.

Incredibly, the tabloid doesn’t have one sentence about where, when or how he supposedly proposed to Bonas. And while the magazine can’t furnish any details about the alleged engagement, it magically has quotes from a supposed private conversation between Prince Harry and Kate Middleton in which she told him to “stop being scared to settle down and follow his heart.” Oh yeah, OK! also seems to know that Queen Elizabeth “gave her blessing to the engagement.”

Not to belabor how OK! doesn’t know anything about the royal family, but in March 2014, Gossip Cop busted the tabloid for claiming Middleton was pregnant with twins. (She wasn’t even expecting back then). And just last week, Gossip Cop corrected a totally fabricated story from the same tabloid that stated Middleton and Prince William were “moving to America.”

Despite the magazine blaring on its cover that the “palace confirms” the engagement, Gossip Cop called a palace spokesperson, and we were told flat out the the palace absolutely did not confirm Prince Harry was engaged to Cressida Bonas. Once again, OK! has been caught in a royal lie.
