Playboy announced on Monday night that it will no longer publish photos of nude women in its magazine, beginning in March 2016. The decision was made in the hopes of boosting Playboy’s declining readership, and also due to the abundance of Internet pornography that makes the magazine look tame in comparison. Now stars are reacting on Twitter to the surprising news. See celebrity reactions below!

Ellen DeGeneres tweeted, “I just got asked to do the cover of Playboy next March. I hope you’re ready for this, America!” Albert Brooks joked, “Playboy will remove nudes from the magazine. A whole new generation will now masturbate to unfunny cartoons.” Josh Gad quipped, “#playboy no longer doing nudes is like the #nytimes deciding to forgo the news part of its paper.” Andy Milonakis had a similar thought, saying, “No more nude women in Playboy in 2016, by 2017 grocery stores will no longer be selling food.”

Ronan Farrow sarcastically wrote, “Relieved there are no more naked people in Playboy but concerned they may start showing up elsewhere, like on the Internet.” Meanwhile, Ariana Huffington expressed, “A Playboy without nudity? The world feels a little different today.” And Richard Roeper joked, “No more nudes in Playboy? Hef must be rolling over in his grave. And also screaming, ‘Hey! I’M NOT DEAD!!!'”
