Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales has steered the box office ship this Memorial Day weekend. Get the details, and check out the full Top 10 below!

Dead Men Tell No Tales is the fifth film in the Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise. Johnny Depp is back as Captain Jack Sparrow, now joined by Javier Bardem and Brenton Thwaites. Orlando Bloom again appears, but in a smaller capacity, and Keira Knightley makes a cameo. All that was enough to get fans into seats, although the movie’s opening gross was lower than 2011’s On Stranger Tides, continuing the series’ downward trend at the box office.

Still, even with a smaller total, Dead Men Tell No Tales easily took first place this weekend. It earned $62.1 million. Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 was able to secure second place with $19.9 million for the holiday weekend.

Coming in a distant third was Baywatch with $18.1 million. The new film adaptation of the classic TV show had a disappointing debut for Dwayne Johnson, who has been rebuffing negative reviews on social media. Last week’s chart-topper, Alien: Covenant, yet another sequel, was down nearly 70 percent, resulting in the movie slipping to fourth place with just $10.5 million. And ticket sales of $6.2 million put Everything, Everything in the fifth position.

Rounding out the Top 10 were Diary Of A Whimpy Kid: The Long Haul, which came in sixth with receipts of only $4.4 million. Snatched nabbed the seventh position with $3.9 million. King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword fought its way to eighth with tickets sale totaling $3.2 million. Meanwhile, The Boss Baby landed in ninth place with $1.7 million. And the Fate of The Furious was knocked out of the Top 10 by Beauty and the Beast. The live-action Disney film just made it into the 10th slot. The movie’s Memorial Day weekend take was $1.6 million.
