Pink has been "pushed to the brink" over Carey Hart's drinking, according to a tabloid story. But Gossip Cop can confirm the claims aren't true. In fact, they're largely recycled from another inaccurate outlet.
Late last month, Star claimed Pink and Hart were "on the rocks" because she was upset over his "never-ending benders." Gossip Cop pointed out, however, that the couple's relationship is actually quite strong at the moment. But now the gossip magazine's sister publication, the National Enquirer, is running an article with similarly false claims. According to the new report, Pink has "triggered a 'code red' over her hubby's heavy boozing."
After Hart joked on social media about his drinking, Pink "isn't seeing the humor," maintains the supermarket tabloid, which quotes a so-called "insider" as saying, "Pink wishes Carey would grow up and take his responsibilities more seriously instead of getting bombed and acting like a big kid. She adores Carey, but she wants to lead a more sober and sensible lifestyle now that they've got two kids."
"They partied hard together when they were younger. But now Pink wants Carey to focus on being a parent, or she'll push him out the door," contends the magazine's supposed source. But it only takes a cursory look at Instagram to see the biker is already a devoted dad, one who has earned his wife's praises on numerous occasions. And Pink herself hasn't exactly embraced a sober lifestyle. In fact, days before this tale was published, the singer actually wrote on Instagram, "Mama gets a drink tonight," noting that Hart was the "#designatedhottie."
And just last week, Pink confirmed on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" that one of the reasons she and Hart named their son Jameson is because they're both fond of whiskey. But the National Enquirer didn't mention that, just like Star didn't, because the publications wanted to spread a misleading narrative. And they were aided online by their sister outlet RadarOnline, which picked up the claims and blared, "Not 'Sober!' Pink Sees Red Over Husband Carey Hart's Boozing." This is a made-up storyline that's being fed by multiple places, but just because it's been regurgitated a few times, it doesn't make it anymore true.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
