Peta Murgatroyd is not pregnant with her second baby, despite a new tabloid report falsely claiming the “Dancing with the Stars” pro is expecting another child with husband Maksim Chmerkovskiy just eight months after welcoming their son. Gossip Cop can exclusively set the record straight.

Murgatroyd just gave birth to a baby boy named Shai in January, but an article in the latest issue of OK! says she’s pregnant once again. A so-called “source” tells the magazine that the dancer and her husband are “over the moon” about the supposed baby news, adding, “They’ve never been more in love since they had Shai. Parenthood has softened them both – especially Maks. He’s a doting dad.”

As Gossip Cop reported, the season 25 cast of “Dancing with the Stars” was announced Wednesday, and it was officially revealed that both Murgatroyd and Chmerkovskiy will be returning to the reality competition show. The outlet’s dubious insider says the dancer’s alleged pregnancy won’t interfere with her gig because she’s “confident that her body is capable,” but she’ll “have to alter her performance costumes to hide her bump.”

Gossip Cop, however, checked in with a source close to Murgatroyd, who exclusively assures us she’s simply “not pregnant.” Despite the magazine’s insistence on impregnating the dancer so soon after the birth of her first child, we’re told she’s not already expecting another baby. The publication’s claim otherwise is flat-out wrong.

Unfortunately, Gossip Cop isn’t particularly surprised by the tabloid’s inaccurate reporting. We previously busted OK!’s sister outlet, RadarOnline, for creating a fake love triangle between Murgatroyd, Chmerkovskiy and Amber Rose. The webloid had alleged that Murgatroyd was jealous of the model being paired up with her husband on the show, but the drama was entirely fabricated. A rep for dancer assured us that story was “completely false,” and the same can be said for this latest one.
