A report claiming Patrick Dempsey's wife Jillian Fink is currently helping him find a "TV comeback" after saving their marriage is entirely inaccurate. Gossip Cop can explain why the story is made-up.
In 2015, Fink filed for divorce from her husband after 15 years of marriage, but the spouses called off their split the following year. According to RadarOnline, the makeup artist "has finally set him free to return to the small screen" now that their relationship is back on track.
An alleged insider tells the blog that Fink has been helping Dempsey "go through scripts," adding, "His dream is some kind of high-profile HBO series, with a big-bucks paycheck but only shoots 13 episodes per year." However, the website's story is completely fabricated because none of it adds up. A full year ago, Dempsey signed on to make his TV return in the Epix series "The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair," which began shooting last fall.
Simply put, the actor's wife isn't actively helping him go through scripts to look for a "TV comeback" considering that he started working on a new show last year. The website purports to have insight into the couple's marriage, but its timeline of events is provably untrue. Had the blog bothered to do a minimal amount of research, it would know that Dempsey has been set to return to TV for a full year.
Additionally, "The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair" premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in April, and Fink joined her husband on the red carpet. RadarOnline's "source" claims the spouses are currently working together to find the actor a big "TV comeback." This same "source," however, doesn't know that the actor already wrapped filming a series and brought his wife to the premiere in France. It's clear the blog's supposed insider is either clueless or nonexistent.
It should be noted, this isn't the first time the website has proven to know nothing about the couple's personal life. In March 2017, Gossip Cop busted the outlet for wrongly reporting that Dempsey and Fink were once again having marriage problems after calling off their divorce. As time has shown, the spouses are still together. In fact, Dempsey and Fink celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary last month by returning to the spot where they got married. Gossip Cop suggests that if the website is going to make up stories, it at least makes sure the phony premise fits into an accurate timeline.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
