Paris Jackson’s family is not “desperate” to send her back to rehab, despite a new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. We’re told it’s “not a true story.”

According to RadarOnline, the Jacksons are “trying to get her back into a rehab facility,” because they fear Michael Jackson’s daughter has “totally fallen off the wagon mentally and physically.” The site alleges “members of the Jackson clan are convinced Paris needs ‘a lot more therapy’ and are worried about a ‘total breakdown that could destroy her.'” After noting how the younger Jackson has gotten a number of tattoos since she began dating Michael Snoddy, who she met at an AA meeting, the webloid quotes a so-called “source” as saying, “Paris’ family is certain that she is drinking and smoking pot. They believe that Snoddy is the reason for this and worry that he will be her downfall.”

It should be noted RadarOnline doesn’t exactly have a stellar record when it comes reporting about Jackson. In August, the webloid falsely reported Jackson was practically engaged to Snoddy. As Gossip Cop reported, that was not true. And Jackson herself slammed the site when it similarly (and wrongly) claimed she had relapsed on alcohol, and the family was staging an intervention. After a handful of those stories, Jackson called the outlet “media low-lives,” and further tweeted, “That’s all bullsh*t. My family’s smarter than to believe the slander and trash you assh*les are spreading about me.”

Regardless of the website’s past blunders, Gossip Cop still checked in with Jackson’s rep, who maintained the latest claim is also false. In response to our question about the family allegedly wanting to send her back to rehab, Jackson’s rep exclusively told us, “It’s not a true story.”
