Paris Jackson is not "doing drugs" amid a supposed family crisis, contrary to an alarming report from the National Enquirer. A rep for the rising star maintains the claim is 100 percent untrue.
On its website, the supermarket tabloid is announcing in a headline, "Trouble Ahead! Jackson Family In Crisis Over Dying Parents." A teaser further asserts, "Joe & Katherine running out of track while Paris goes off the rails!" And then the story begins, "The family and friends of pop icon Michael Jackson fear three of his closest kin — parents Joe and Katherine Jackson and daughter Paris — are facing crises!"
"The Jackson parents, both in their 80s, are fading fast, say insiders. But the greatest concern is for wild child Paris," claims the gossip magazine, which goes on to allege, "The family worries the stress of Paris's booming modeling and acting career has catapulted her into substance abuse." One such "concerned insider" supposedly contends to the outlet, "Now that she's working in showbiz, we're afraid Paris is going out and doing drugs."
But would someone who is genuinely "concerned" about Jackson and truly "afraid" for her well-being really be talking about it with the notorious National Enquirer? Of course not. And the publication has repeatedly been caught making up stories about 19-year-old this year. In March, for example, the tabloid ran fake news about Jackson joining "Keeping Up with the Kardashians." That was followed in April by nonsense about the model supposedly using the dating app Raya to find lesbian one-night-stands.
In May, there was false tale about a non-existent feud with Miley Cyrus. And just last month, the magazine wrongly claimed Jackson was happily dating Trevor Donovan. Notably, nothing is said about that alleged relationship in this new piece about going "off the rails." As for her grandparents, at nearly 90 years old, both have health issues, but the outlet is disgustingly sensationalizing things to give the inaccurate impression that this is a "family in crisis." But a rep for Jackson confirms to Gossip Cop the allegations are "not true."
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
