A tabloid claims Paris Jackson is in a rush to marry boyfriend Gabriel Glenn, but her family is worried because she's refusing to get a prenup. The story is completely untrue. Gossip Cop can debunk it.
An article in the latest issue of Star says the couple of one year, who sing together in the band The Soundflowers, are ready to tie the knot against her loved ones' wishes. "Paris thinks a prenup isn't necessary because she and Gabriel are in love, and it would be disrespectful and rude to ask him to sign one," a supposed source tells the outlet. "She's convinced Gabriel would never use her for fame or her money."
According to the magazine, those in Jackson's inner circle are concerned because millions are at stake, including an inheritance from her late father, Michael Jackson. "Everyone is nervous they'll elope," says the alleged insider, adding that Jackson's team is "frantically trying to talk sense into her." The questionable tipster concludes, "Time is of the essence, but she's super headstrong and won't change her mind."
Gossip Cop checked in with an individual in Jackson's camp, and we're assured the tabloid's story is simply "not true." Our impeccable insider tells us Star is "just trying to sell magazines," adding, "It's sad." And since we originally published this piece, Jackson retweeted out article, confirming our reporting by noting in a tweet, "for the zillionth time i'm NOT GETTING MARRIED."
Unfortunately, we're not surprised by the tabloid's bogus report, given the outlet's track record with Jackson. In March 2018, Gossip Cop busted the outlet for falsely claiming Jackson was quitting Hollywood and moving into a teepee in the California hills. In the time since we debunked the phony article, the singer has continued performing with her band and still lives in Los Angeles.
In June of last year, Gossip Cop called out the tabloid's sister publication, the National Enquirer, for making up a ridiculous story about Jackson "dating three women at the same time." The outlet contended that she was juggling simultaneous romances with Cara Delevingne, Ashley Benson and DJ Caroline D'Amore.
Shortly after we corrected that premise, Jackson herself retweeted our article and confirmed we got it right. She wrote on Twitter, "i've never met miss benzo. caroline is one of my bestest friends who is **straight** and **married**, and also the mother of my godchild. cara and i were never officially exclusive."
It's worth noting how it was later revealed that Jackson had been dating Glenn since April 2018, more than a month before the magazine's story emerged. Considering the gossip media wasn't aware of the couple's relationship when it began, it's safe to say the tabloids have no insight into where it's headed.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
