Oprah Winfrey turns 62 on Friday, and to celebrate her birthday Gossip Cop looks back at five really wrong rumors about the talk show queen that we exclusively “blew out.”

Gossip Cop exclusively debunked a ridiculous OK! story in April 2014 that claimed Winfrey takes two bodyguards to her SoulCycle classes in Los Angeles to keep people away. Once again, the tabloid was busted for spinning an untrue yarn. A rep for Winfrey exclusively assured Gossip Cop the report was 100 percent false.

In March 2014, Gossip Cop exclusively busted a Star report that alleged Winfrey had her OWN staff members looking after Lindsay Lohan “24/7.” The tabloid claimed Lohan was still partying while filming her reality show for the cable network, and Winfrey “doesn’t want to be held responsible,” should anything have happened to her. A rep for OWN, however, told Gossip Cop the story was “completely untrue.”

In July 2011, the National Enquirer published a report claiming Winfrey “collapsed with crushing chest pains” in a “heart attack drama” during a European vacation. The magazine also alleged she required a “risky, four-hour surgery” to save her life, but a spokesperson for Winfrey exclusively confirmed to Gossip Cop that the tabloid tale was simply “not true.”

Gossip Cop also corrected another bogus National Enquirer story in June 2011 that alleged O.J. Simpson was prepared to confess to killing Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman in an “exclusive” interview with Winfrey. According to the report, Simpson had already admitted to the two murders to one of Winfrey’s producers, but insisted they were “acts of self-defense.” A rep for Winfrey exclusively told Gossip Cop the supermarket tabloid’s claims were “not true.”

And finally, Gossip Cop shot down a May 2011 In Touch story that claimed Rosie O’Donnell and Winfrey were at “war” over O’Donnell’s former talk show on OWN. A supposed “insider” told the tabloid they were fighting for control over the show, and that Winfrey “hung up on Rosie after one tense conversation.” A rep for O’Donnell exclusively told Gossip Cop the entire premise was “absolutely absurd,” while a spokesperson for Winfrey’s OWN also assured us the report was completely “untrue.”

Gossip Cop wishes Winfrey a happy and rumor-free birthday!
