Normani Kordei Dancing With The Stars

Normani Kordei and Val Chmerkovskiy nailed yet another perfect routine on Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars” finals. Kordei and Chmerkovskiy performed a flawless freestyle dance to Andra Day’s “What the World Needs Now Is Love.” Watch the video below.

Kordei has been the one to beat going into the finals of this season’s “Dancing With The Stars.” The Fifth Harmony singer has received more perfect scores than any other contest this season. Incredibly, she was the only competitor who’s received a perfect score going into Week 10. In addition to the judges loving her performances, the audience has also fallen for Kordei.

Earlier in the show, Kordei’s redemption style quickstep was similarly received with high praise. Bruno Tonioli said, “That was brilliant.” Julianne Hough noted, “You have been one of the most consistent couples.” Len Goodman, however, felt it was “too speedy.” And Carrie Ann Inaba shared, “It was fantastic.” For that performance, they earned a 38 out 40 points.

For Kordei’s second dance during the finals, a freestyle to Andra Day’s “What the World Needs Now Is Love,” Goodman said he loved it. Tonioli offered, “It had purity of style… It was like watching angels dancing.” Hough remarked, “That was absolutely breathtaking.” “You’re in a class of your own,” added Inaba. For their effort, Kordei and Chmerkovskiy received a perfect 40 out of 40 points.
