A story alleging Nina Dobrev was "snubbed" and "not asked" to be a bridesmaid at Julianne Hough's wedding is fake news. Gossip Cop can easily correct this 100 percent wrong article.
"Nina Dobrev Snubbed: Not Asked to Serve as Bridesmaid in Julianne Hough's Wedding," Celeb Dirty Laundry announces in a completely untrue headline. The accompanying story begins by inaccurately stating, "Was Nina Dobrev snubbed by her best friend Julianne Hough? That's what a lot of fans can't help but wonder as new reports say that Nina was nothing more than a guest at Julianne Hough's wedding to Brooks Laich. Many figured that Nina would have at least served as a bridesmaid for Julianne for her special day."
Without citing any sources for this information, the webloid asserts, "According to reports, Nina Dobrev attended Julianne Hough's wedding as a guest - and not as a bridesmaid as previously expected." Since "there was a lot of speculation that Nina Dobrev was going to serve as one of Julianne Hough's bridesmaids," the site contends it's a "possibility that Julianne simply didn't want to be upstaged on her own wedding day." The bad blog writes, "Sure, she's also a huge celebrity thanks to her 'Dancing With The Stars' stint, but Nina is fast becoming a Hollywood star."
"No bride wants to be left in the shadow on her own wedding day. And that might be the reason why Nina Dobrev wasn't asked to be a bridesmaid at her best friend's wedding," maintains the outlet. But for a publication that implores readers to "check back with CDL for all the latest news and updates on Nina Dobrev right here," Celeb Dirty Laundry is actually mind-bogglingly clueless.
Despite everything said in this article, Dobrev WAS a bridesmaid at Hough's wedding. Wearing a light pink dressed that matched in color with those worn by all the bridesmaids, "The Vampire Diaries" star walked down the aisle with a bouquet of flowers as a member of the bridal party during the ceremony. There's even pictures of Dobrev's involvement circulating on social media and on a number of gossip sites.
And though CDL makes vague references to "reports" as the basis for its assertions that Dobrev was "snubbed" and "not asked to serve as a bridesmaid," there is no real foundation for these provably false claims. The webloid published a piece completely detached from reality. In truth, though, it's not all that surprising. Despite trying to pass itself off as a reliable resource for "all the latest news and updates on Nina Dobrev," many of the outlet's posts about the actress are actually fake news, much like this tale.
In fact, it seems the online publication has forgotten about its April story that falsely said Dobrev would take Orlando Bloom to Hough's wedding. Gossip Cop busted that report more than two months ago, and time has proven we were right. Not only did Bloom not accompany Dobrev to Hough's wedding last weekend, but she actually brought current beau Glen Powell as her date. Guess that's another fact Celeb Dirty Laundry decided to snub.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
