Is Nikki Reed "warning" Ian Somerhalder to stay away from Nina Dobrev? That's what one webloid wants readers to believe. Gossip Cop, however, can reveal the truth.
As Gossip Cop reported, Dobrev is returning for "The Vampire Diaries" series finale. Now, asks Celeb Dirty Laundry, "Is Nikki Reed upset that Nina Dobrev is back on the set of 'The Vampire Diaries?' That might be the case as the actress has been keeping a low profile ever since Nina announced that she will be reprising her role as Elena Gilbert on the hit CW show's series finale." Asserts the site, "There's speculation that Nikki might not be too pleased with the fact that Ian is working with his ex-girlfriend again."
"Nikki Reed might be worried that Ian might have some left over feelings for Nina," contends the source-free outlet, which goes on to write, "Many fans can't help but notice that Ian is doing whatever it takes to keep his distance from Nina. Is Nikki warning him to stay away from her? Did she give her husband an ultimatum? That's what fans want to know."
Well, fans won't know anything from reading CDL's nonsense. The online publication has a terrible reputation, not just in general, but with its "reporting" on these three stars in particular. Last August, there was a tall tale about Somerhalder obsessing over Dobrev's return.
Before that, the bad blog falsely said Somerhalder and Reed were headed for divorce. And there's many more examples from the past few years in our archives, all showing how the webloid has been consistently wrong and off-base. That's still the case here.
Reed isn't "warning" Somerhalder to stay away from Dobrev, because she's secure in her marriage. She's also not concerned about the relatively short time the exes will be spending together on set. All three parties are professionals, and all know acting is a game of pretend. At the same time, Celeb Dirty Laundry is pretending to know what's going on. It doesn't. This fan fiction should be disregarded.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
