Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are not buying a $39 million townhouse mansion in New York City, despite an inaccurate report that was picked up by a number of other outlets. Gossip Cop looked into the situation and we’re exclusively told the couple isn’t purchasing the property.

Woman’s Day recently published an article claiming that the famous spouses are relocating from Nashville to New York so Kidman can pursue her dream of starring on Broadway. RadarOnline regurgitated the incorrect story, quoting a so-called “source” as saying, “Nicole is keen to do Broadway shows and get into making TV programs and New York is a much better place for them to be than Nashville.”

According to the questionable insider, the actress and country singer are buying an enormous six-story mansion located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, where Michael Jackson once lived. The limestone and red brick townhouse, built in the late 19th century, is more than 12,000 square feet and comes with 16 rooms, a grand oak staircase, a private outdoor patio, a roof deck, a state-of-the-art security system, and more. It was put on the market earlier this month by hedge fund billionaire Marc Lasry, who’s also the co-owner of the Milwaukee Bucks.

Gossip Cop, however, is told by the agent representing the property that Kidman and Urban haven’t purchased it. In fact, the listing for the mansion is still active on the real estate firm’s website. It should also be noted, RadarOnline isn’t a reliable outlet when it comes to the couple’s living situation.

Gossip Cop busted the webloid earlier this year for wrongly reporting that Kidman and Urban were permanently moving from America to Australia. The site’s latest article fails to mention what happened to those supposed relocation plans. Regardless, the couple hasn’t made a deal on a New York City mansion.
