Nicole Kidman is not "keeping tabs" on Keith Urban, despite a false report claiming the actress doesn't trust her husband. Gossip Cop can debunk the bogus story. We're told it's completely untrue.
Urban accompanied his wife to the Season 2 premiere of "Big Little Lies" in New York City last month, but according to Life & Style, the actress "dragged" him there because she doesn't like leaving him alone. An alleged insider tells the magazine that Kidman has "grown wary of her husband's wandering eye," adding, "Nicole makes no excuses about keeping tabs on him. And with all the stories about his flirty nature, who can blame her?"
The supposed source further contends that Kidman calls her husband nonstop when they're apart but "she doesn't see it as overbearing. She just thinks of it as protecting her marriage." The tabloid's premise, which is coming from an anonymous tipster, is flat-out absurd.
Gossip Cop checked in with Kidman's rep, who tells us on the record that the publication's story is total nonsense. Urban attended the Season 2 premiere of "Big Little Lies" to support his wife. The country star wasn't "dragged" to the event, nor are there any trust issues between the spouses of nearly 13 years. Despite what the outlet's possibly fictitious "insider" says, a rep qualified to speak on Kidman's behalf confirms she's not "keeping tabs" on her husband and has no reason to do so.
Unfortunately, we're not surprised Life & Style is attempting to create nonexistent drama in the couple's marriage. Last year, Gossip Cop busted the tabloid for falsely claiming Urban "walked out" on Kidman and was living in a hotel as they prepared to divorce. Of course, no such incident ever went down.
In 2017, Gossip Cop called out the magazine for wrongly reporting that Kidman and Urban's marriage was in trouble because she wanted to move back to Australia, but the country star insisted on staying in Nashville. The unreliable outlet didn't realize that the spouses own several homes all over the world, including two properties in Sydney alone.
Here's what's really happening. The untrustworthy outlet has spent a lot of time falsely alleging that Kidman and Urban are having marriage problems. In reality, the spouses are going strong, as was evident at the premiere of "Big Little Lies" last month. Instead of acknowledging that it's been wrong about the couple, the tabloid is instead claiming Kidman invited her husband to her premiere just because she wanted to keep an eye on him. The narrative is simply ridiculous.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
