One of the tabloids claims Nicole Kidman is upset about Keith Urban supposedly "getting cozy" with singer Julia Michaels, who's one of the opening acts on his Graffiti U World Tour. The story is completely untrue. Gossip Cop can debunk it.
According to Woman's Day Australia, the country star has developed a strong bond with the 25-year-old singer while on the road. A supposed source tells the magazine, "Keith has been spending lots of time with Julia and the word is that it isn't doing his marriage any favors whatsoever. She's very flirtatious around him and he's been lapping it up."
The alleged insider adds, "Nicole's got every right to find their behavior intimidating and highly inappropriate especially as Keith's so unapologetic and borderline smug about it all." The seemingly phony tipster further contends that Kidman is "enraged" by her husband being "all over [Michaels] in such a cheesy fashion."
None of this is remotely true. For starters, Michaels served as Urban's supporting act on the Australian leg of his tour, which wrapped up in early February. The country star is currently on the European leg of his tour, for which his opening acts include Brett Eldredge, Drake White, Cam and Chase Rice.
Additionally, Kidman has been accompanying Urban on tour, along with their two daughters. The actress has shared several Instagram photos from the road. The idea that Urban would "get cozy" with another woman on tour is already baseless, but the notion that he'd do it with his wife and kids by his side is even more absurd.
Regardless, Gossip Cop reached out to Urban's spokesperson, who assures us the tabloid's report is complete nonsense. Despite what the magazine's anonymous and untraceable "insider" claims, the musician's rep tells us on the record that his wife doesn't have any issue with Michaels. Urban's relationship with the young singer is completely professional, and any suggestion otherwise is unfounded.
Unfortunately, this isn't the first time Woman's Day has concocted a phony story surrounding the Graffiti U World Tour. In January, Gossip Cop busted the tabloid for falsely claiming the only reason Kidman was joining Urban on tour was to dispel rumors about him cheating on the road. That article was a total fabrication.
Gossip Cop also called out the magazine last year for publishing a cover story claiming Kidman and Urban were getting a divorce. As time has proven, that never happened. This latest article is more fiction from the unreliable outlet.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
