Has Nicole Kidman been turning to Hugh Jackman to save her marriage to Keith Urban? That's the false claim in one of this week's tabloids. Gossip Cop looked into the situation and we've learned the truth.

According to the National Enquirer, Kidman has hit a rough patch in her 13-year marriage so she's been getting advice from Jackman, who's been happily married to wife Deborra-Lee Furness for 23 years. "Nicole has been close with Hugh for decades and truly admires how perfect his marriage is," a supposed source tells the magazine.

The alleged insider further contends that Kidman has been leaning on Jackman and his wife for support while spending time in New York filming her HBO series "The Undoing." "Hugh and Deb love sharing their wisdom with an old friend - but Keith does get frustrated with how she goes running to them with every little problem," adds the suspicious tipster. "He puts up with it to a point, but it's certainly a little insulting that she listens to them more than she does her own husband."

The main problem with the magazine's premise is that it's based on the false notion that the actress's marriage is in trouble. Earlier this week, the Enquirer's sister publication, Life & Style, published a cover story claiming Kidman and Urban were headed for a split following a "tense" trip to Australia. A spokesperson for the "Big Little Lies" stars told us on the record that the report was completely untrue.

The happy spouses, who celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary last month, posted loving Instagram messages for each other in honor of the milestone. The couple's marriage simply isn't in need of saving, as Kidman's own rep made clear earlier this week. This latest article throwing Jackman into the mix is more nonsense.

It's worth noting, Gossip Cop busted the Enquirer last week for falsely claiming Kidman and Urban were adopting a baby after a string of failed IVF attempts. In addition to that article being fabricated, this latest piece doesn't mention anything about the pair taking in a child.

In February, Gossip Cop called out the magazine for wrongly reporting that Kidman was going on tour with Urban to save their marriage. In reality, the actress joined her husband on the road with their two daughters so they could spend time together as a family. The tabloid's ongoing narrative surrounding the state of the couple's marriage is simply untrue.
