A new magazine report maintains Nicole Kidman is “losing her hair.” Gossip Cop, however, can correct the claim. We’re exclusively told it’s 100 percent not true.
The Globe, which spent more time coming up with hair puns than it did checking its facts, asserts Kidman is “flippin’ her wig over her vanishing hair.” The purported reason for the actress’s “trademark tresses falling to the floor,” contends the supermarket tabloid, is Kidman “stressing” over her marriage to Keith Urban. Curiously, after lobbing that empty allegation, the publication makes no mention afterwards about Urban or any marital issues.
From there, in an effort to lend credence to its story, the outlet claims it has a “source” who says, “Nic’s freaking out about her hair because it was always her calling card.” “She doesn’t think her career will survive if she continues to lose it,” adds the unnamed, untraceable, and quite possibly manufactured “source.” However, just a couple of sentences later, the same seemingly phony tipster alleges Kidman’s hairdressers suggest she wear weaves or wigs.
Significantly, the publication offers no proof whatsoever that the Oscar-winner’s hair is truly thinning. Also, contrary to the tabloid’s tale, there’s photographic proof from just last Friday, when Kidman was promoting the second season of “Big Little Lies” at a press tour in California, that she’s absolutely not “losing her hair.” And, as opposed to the magazine, which hides behinds an anonymous and unaccountable “source” (if he or she even exists), Kidman’s rep, speaking on behalf of the actress, tells Gossip Cop the entire article is untrue.
Of course, the Globe doesn’t have a strong track record when it comes to reporting about Kidman. Six months ago, for example, Gossip Cop has busted the same outlet when it swore up and down Kidman was filing for divorce from Urban. The reality is the two are happily married and are often seen publicly supporting each other.
Interestingly, the magazine’s sister publication, OK!, abandoned that narrative just a few months ago for another tale that falsely insisted Kidman and Urban were having a third baby after overcoming “marriage problems.” But, as already noted, their relationship is rock solid, and the actress herself even said two years ago that she and Urban are done having children.
The reality is these tabloids make a slew of unsubstantiated claims, using nothing more than nameless and questionable sources. Conversely, Gossip Cop routinely disproves inaccurate stories by employing photographic evidence and on-the-record comments. That’s why we can say with certainty that the magazine’s article about Kidman “losing her hair” is nothing less than a bald-faced lie.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
