Nicole Kidman did not act like a "diva" at Sunday night's Emmy Awards, despite a new report filled with several bogus allegations about the actress's behavior at the ceremony. The article says Kidman has a reputation for being difficult and put it on full display at the 2017 Emmys. Gossip Cop, however, can exclusively set the record straight.
"Primetime Diva! Nicole Kidman's Outrageous Emmy Awards Demands Revealed," blares a new RadarOnline headline. The accompanying article claims the actress, who won an award Sunday for her role on HBO's "Big Little Lies," acted like a nightmare behind-the-scenes of the awards show. A so-called "source" tells the site, "Nicole is always known for being a diva and the Emmys was no exception. She always thinks that the show should revolve around her."
The outlet's dubious insider continues, "She is not the friendliest person to be around and she was quite rude to staff and production last night. Nicole demanded that she get two dressing rooms — one for her and one for her large team that she brought with her." The webloid's questionable source further alleges Kidman "was not willing to sit in her assigned seats" for the entirety of the show and insisted "a seat filler" take her spot while she hung out backstage. The supposed insider adds, "She was telling everyone around her that she knew she was going to win, so it was no surprise for her at all!"
But Gossip Cop checked in with multiple sources involved in the production of the Emmys, and we're exclusively assured the webloid's account of events is "100% untrue." Another insider dismissed the site's rundown as "insanity." RadarOnline completely fabricated its report about Kidman being an Emmys "diva," which isn't too surprising considering the unreliable outlet constantly publishes nonsense about the actress.
Gossip Cop previously corrected the site for wrongly reporting Kidman and husband Keith Urban were moving to Australia permanently, which obviously never happened. We also busted the outlet for making up a story about Urban being upset about Kidman's sex scenes on "Big Little Lies." There was no truth to either of those articles, and this latest one is equally phony.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
